Five by Fifteen: Working in Partnership video launched

09 Jun 2010 | Family planning
Marie Stopes International is pleased to share the second of three videos in the Five by Fifteen initiative to highlight the contribution that family planning and reproductive healthcare can make to achieving Millennium Development Goal 5 by 2015.

The video, Working in Partnership, outlines some of the benefits of collaborative approaches to maternal health: more people reached, more women helped, more money, time and lives saved.

Rather than replicating facilities and infrastructure that already exist, we are harnessing private healthcare providers and government health facilities. The result is dramatically expanded access to quality family planning and reproductive healthcare services among low-income women and couples.

We hope you'll take time to look at the video and the Five by Fifteen website, which includes our Impact Calculator- a tool that shows the positive impact that voluntary family planning and reproductive healthcare can have on maternal mortality.
