Country Director, Marie Stopes Romania
Valentina joined Marie Stopes Romania in 2012 and since then has been working to increase awareness of contraception and reproductive healthcare, and empower Romanian women to have children by choice not by chance.
After completing a Bachelors Degree in Finance and Banking and a Masters Degree in Psychology of Human Resources, Valentina spent time living in France and then working with the foreign and diplomacy service in Romania.
Wanting to apply her international experience, she went on to join the first private healthcare multidisciplinary provider in Romania and for 17 years has been actively participating, with different corporations, on positively changing the Romanian healthcare system.
Her expertise is people management, healthcare and insurance operations, in and out-patient optimisation, public healthcare quality control, new product development, organisational change, and development.Back to team
