Quality and Clinical Governance Lead
Roberta is an experienced nurse-midwife and international public health professional. She holds a Master of Science degree in Nurse-Midwifery and a Doctor of Public Health degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Since joining Marie Stopes International, she has led the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the quality assurance systems across all MSI channels and services, to ensure that high quality, safe and effective services are provided to MSI clients.
In collaboration with colleagues in the Medical Development Team (MDT), International Operations and Health Systems Department (HSD), she and her team work to ensure that clinical governance and patient safety is embedded and owned locally.
Roberta both contributes to, and leads the development and oversight of, systems and processes for incident management, with active monitoring informing mitigation efforts to address risk across the organisation. As part of her commitment to clinical governance, she produces reports and analyses of quality related information for the partnership, International Clinical Governance Committee (ICGC), Executive Team and the Board.
