Highlights 
  • PSZ has faced many severe operational challenges in recent years including political and economic instability, infrastructure erosion and collapse, the absence of basic services and the steadily worsening humanitarian situation. Despite this, PSZ has managed to remain operational and continued to serve the most underserved communities
  • distributed more than 650,000 condoms during 2008
  • 200,000 client services provided in 2008
  • expanded the outreach services in order to reach more underserved communities
  • now offering VCT (voluntary counselling & testing) through the mobile outreach team
