Highlights

  • completed an a innovative ‘Midwives on Bikes’ outreach pilot project, providing comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services to remote and rural communities as well as internally displaced persons (IDP) camps
  • implemented a sexual and reproductive health project with Uniformed Service People (army and police) to overcome the challenges faced by this group, who are mainly men.

  • expand the CHOICE sexual and reproductive health outreach programme into the rual and remote areas of 8 districts over three years (2009-2011)
  • increase access for young people to youth-friendly sexual and reproductive health education and clinical services in Timor Leste.
