Highlights

  • established the BlueStar social franchise network, which now has 200 franchisees
  • increased access to intrauterine devices (IUDs) amongst disadvantaged and poor women throughout the Philippines
  • the programme received an award for its long-standing efforts to provide family planning services in the municipality of Glan in Saranggani Province on the island of Mindanao
