Future plans


  • grow social marketing and community health programmes to increase access to family planning and reproductive health services
  • increase private sector capacity by partnering with others to provide services
  • add female condoms, emergency contraception and contraceptive implants to the range of family planning services offered
  • expand the Community Health Worker training programme to improve access to family planning in rural areas of Afghanistan
